I have a childhood story that begins with “In a village in Ankara…”. I was such a naughty and mischievous child, I still laugh about it. At the parents’ meeting in the second grade of the elementary school, my teacher told my mother: “This child can only be a shepherd, don’t waste your time on his education”. That really upset my dear mother.

My secondary school life was not really heartwarming either, I’ve always been an average student. I think it’s my high school years when I changed the shell. Although I graduated from Bahçelievler Industrial Vocational High School with a degree, I decided to continue my career as a statistician. I completed the first stages of realizing my dream for 3 years, both by working and going to classrooms.Hacettepe University Department of Statistics has been the biggest lever for me to realize my ideals. I worked hard enough to be considered as the ‘nerd’ of the department and, I finished school with a very good average. I commemorate my professors who have worked hard on me during and after my school years with love and respect. I would like to express my gratitude to my dear Hüseyin Tatlıdil, who was really helpful when I came to Istanbul after my military service and starting to work at the Plus Remark Research Company where I took the first step in the research sector.

Thanks to Plus Remark, my dream of stepping into the profession has become a reality for me. Under the roof of Sia, it is also a pleasure to come together with the friends I have gained during these years. After 3 years of Plus Remark, I was responsible for market research in Yapı Kredi Bank’s market research department for 1 year. In Doğuş Holding, I was responsible for data mining and modeling for 1 year; I worked for 5 years as a data mining specialist and manager at Garanti Technology and there I had the chance to continue my career development outside the research sector. In 2005, I returned to the research sector and continued working at Synovate. I had the opportunity to manage the global analysis center under Synovate. After Synovate, I worked as a consultant and director at Barem Research Company for about 2 years. I had the opportunity to move my experience of different companies in the sector to a different dimension by establishing my own research company with 4 partners.

My new home, the Sia family, offers me the opportunity to work with my beloved friends, with whom I have spent many years working together. To be a part of this family and move it to better places:“FORCE BE WITH US”.
