I was born in the spring of seventy-three on a May day, when the scent of honeysuckle spread by the flowers. I fully embody the features of a Taurus person; prescriptive, patient, disciplined and planned-programmed.
At the beginning of the nineties, I completed my primary, secondary and high school education in Bursa and came to Istanbul. While studying in the Department of Statistics at Yıldız Technical University, I took my first step in the sector. In this period, while working out my school allowance, I began to crown my theoretical knowledge with practice and use it in projects. In 92, I was an employee of PIAR-GALLUP. Temel Aksoy, Serpil Erten and Feray Şansal’s knowledge, experiencses and insights are indispensable sources for “me and my generation”. I still walk and work with their light. Towards the end of the nineties, I found my wife and got married immediately.
Thanks to the passion of international companies for Turkey in the 2000s; sales processes of TNS-PIAR, Infratest Burke, NFO Infratest, Plus Remark, Synovate-IPSOS have never left my foot. Wherever I went, that company was sold to a stranger. After our contribution, Turkey’s largest online research company DORinsight and, with a short work experience in Barem, we were able to sell Ponera in 2 years. I always carried the meaning of the word SIA in Ottoman language with me, “abundance and fertility”. My feet sounds a little auspicious, I guess. I targeted my desire to succeed in such an economic design that enables me to earn money while also spending it. We will continue to grow by producing fast, qualified and innovative ideas. By using our minds for new inventions and by realizing them, we will re-enact with my old Remark friends “in the shadow of the SIA wisdom”.
I love what I do best and I love being in Sia.
As Steve Jobs says, always show the courage to follow the path of your heart and the intuition that knows best what you want to do. Everything else is elaborate.
